Bull’s Eye Chip
Circular damage with a dark centre caused by a direct impact. If repaired early, it becomes almost invisible.
Half-Moon Chip
A partial bull’s-eye crack caused by a blunt object. Easier to clean and repair if addressed quickly.
Star Break Chip
Short cracks radiating from the impact point, resembling a star. Commonly caused by flying stones.
Combination Chip
A mix of bull’s eye and star break damage — difficult to repair without a skilled technician.
Edge Cracks
Begin at the glass edge, often due to extreme temperature changes. Can grow rapidly and require replacement if ignored.
Floater Cracks

Air is removed from the crack and filled with a high-strength clear adhesive.
UV Curing
The resin is hardened with UV light, restoring up to 90–95% of the glass’s original strength
Final Polish
Smooth finishing ensures clarity and prevents further cracking.
When Replacement Is Necessary
While we aim to repair whenever possible, replacement is required if:
- The crack is longer than 12cm, or is highly suggested after examination by our specialists.
- There are multiple chips in different areas
- Damage is in the driver’s direct line of sight.
- The coating layer is badly damaged.
